Dr. Alan Maugherman earned his PhD in counseling psychology and MA in clinical psychology from Ball State University. Alan founded Psychological Assessment and Consulting in 2009. His primary areas of interest are counseling adolescents and ADHD testing. “I enjoy working with adolescents as they are at a critical age where they can first begin to take charge of their lives, create their own identity, and learn to overcome their environment to reach their potential.”
Dr. Amber White, PhD, HSPP, joined PAC in the fall of 2011 full time, performing psychological and neuropsychological assessments. A former school psychologist, she earned her Bachelor’s degree from Cedarville University in Ohio, her Master’s from Bowling Green University and her PhD from Ball State University. Amber works with patients ages three to 90.
Dr. Gentry received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University, and is currently providing therapy and assessments for her clients at PAC. She believes in a strong therapeutic relationship and a supportive, nonjudgmental environment to assist adolescents and adults in identifying their specific needs and attaining their goals.
Specialty Areas: Diversity issues, sexual assault and trauma, interpersonal relationships, and ADHD assessments.
Dr. Kristin Perrone-McGovern
Dr. Kristin Perrone-McGovern earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a tenured, full professor at Ball State University in the Department of Counseling Psychology since 1998. “At PAC, I am able to work directly with a variety of clients and to help them better understand themselves, their needs, and their treatment options based on the results of their performance on psychological assessment instruments. I am especially interested in the ways that changes in the brain can influence behavior and functioning.”

Dr. Deborah Miller
Dr. Miller received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University. She sees clients for psychological testing and counseling. She specializes in helping adults, couples, and older teens decrease their struggles with negative thoughts and emotions while increasing their abilities to act in meaningful, personally valuable ways.

Liberty Noble, LMHC
Liberty is a graduate of Ball State University with a Master's in Counseling. She enjoys working with children, teens, adults, Veterans, and clients with developmental delays. When she is not working, she enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Annella Dixon, LMHC
Annella has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for more than 22 years. Her life’s work focuses on those who enter therapy to address major life challenges and those who seek help in managing mental health conditions. Her passion is to teach adults, couples and older adults to recognize the thought and behavior patterns that create life problems and work with them to develop and maintain healthy new approaches to the challenges they face. Her personal style can be described as compassionate, independent, original, analytical, and determined. Her faith gives her a strong sense of responsibility to those who want to learn to live successful lives while coping with depression, anxiety, adult ADD, grief, pain, and chronic medical conditions.

Jo Aaron, LMHCA
Jo Aaron completed a Master's degree in Divinity and Theology from Earlham and Master's degrees in Addictions Counseling as well as Community Mental Health Clinical Counseling from Indiana Weslyan. Jo is an ordained chaplain, has her provisional mental health counseling license, and is working on her hours to become a fully licensed mental health counselor. She sees adolescents and adults for counseling and enjoys working in the areas of Addiction Recovery, Trauma Processing, Women & Children Advocacy, Depression and Anxiety.

Kathleen Ekman, LMHC, CH
Kathleen has worked as a Mental Health Counselor for 14 years and became a Certified Hypnotherapist 2 years ago. She completed an Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Work at Ball State University. She has taught classes in Human Development at Ball State University where she learned that the brain continues to change and learn across the life span. This led to her interest in hypnosis, which can help people change subconscious, self-limiting beliefs in order to reach their goals, often without spending years in therapy. Her specialty is Hypnotherapy with adolescents and adults. Her goal is to help people achieve their goals of managing chronic pain, smoking cessation, eliminating anxiety or depression, and increasing confidence and motivation.
Judy Hall earned a Bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Illinois in Chicago. She comes with years of experience working with children and adolescents in schools and clinics. She has worked with adults in all settings, and enjoys working with clients of all ages.
Elise Chupp, M.A.
Elise is a part time counselor at PAC Counseling, working primarily with younger children with ADHD, behavioral problems, and autism. She also works full time as a school counselor. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, running, and trying new recipes.

Shari Mathews, LMHCA
Shari is a graduate of Ball State University with a Master’s in Rehabilitation/Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and is working on her hours to become a fully licensed mental health counselor. She also works at the New Castle Correctional Facility. She enjoys working with adults and older teens.
Patti Olesen, Office Manager
Patti has been helping clients at PAC for five years and has worked in the medical field for nearly 20 years. She handles our client care and processes all referrals. When she isn't in the office, she runs an organization called Vest Indiana K9s that helps police officers obtain protective ballistic vests for their K9 units.
